Pike County 4H Fair
The Pike County 4H Fair is taking place through July 18th at Hornaday Park in Petersburg. The small animal showmanship competition starts at 9am with the large animal contest at 1, Future 4H day is from 3-5pm with the livestock auction at 6:30 and the bluegrass show from 7-9pm. Farm Service Agency**
Area producers have until Friday, August 14th to enroll in the AVERAGE CROP REVENUE ELECTION program. ACRE is a provision of the 2008 farm bill. For details call 254-4780 extension 2
V.U. Alumni
The Vincennes University Alumni Association presents The Lettermen in concert as part of its COMMUNITY SUMMER SERIES. A limited number of tickets are left for the July 17th show which starts at 8pm in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center. For ticket information call 888-4354.
County fairs
COUNTY FAIRS are taking place today in Bartholomew, Carroll, Cass, Clark, Clay, Clinton, Crawford, Decatur, Dekalb, Delaware, Elkhart, Fountain, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Jasper, Jefferson, LaGrange, Lawrence, Marshall, Montgomery, Ohio, Perry, Pike, Posey, Putnam, Scott, Starke, Steuben, Sullivan, Switzerland, Tipton, Vigo, Wabash, Warrick and Whitley counties.
Greene County Fair**
The Greene County Fair is taking place at the fairgrounds between Switz City and Bloomfield. Activities today include the Livestock Auction beginning at 5:30pm.
Daviess Co 4H Fair**
The Daviess County 4H fair is at Eastside Park in Washington July 16th through the 24th.
Friends of the Arts**
The Jasper Community Arts Program and Friends of the Arts presents HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. The show is at the Jasper Arts Center with curtain at 7:30pm. For ticket information call 683-2848.
Old Town Players**
Old Town Players presents the musical GYPSY at the theatre on Broadway in Vincennes. Show time is 8pm. Tickets will be available at the door.
Gospel Center
REVIVAL services featuring Evangelist Dan Toney is taking place at the Gospel Center in Petersburg. Service time is 7pm. Child care is provided. The church is located on East Illinois Street across from the Little League ballpark.
