Daviess Co. 4H Fair**
The Daviess County 4H FAIR is in Eastside Park in Washington. Consumer clothing notebooks are due to the extension office by noon. Also consumer clothing and sewing judging takes place in the community building. For details call 254-8668.
Ivy Tech College**
Ivy Tech Community College is offering an ADVANCED POWERPOINT class on Wednesday the 23rd. The class will be from 5:30 until 9:30pm at the Gatewat Center on East Main Street in Washington. Pre registration is required by calling 254-0594.
South Knox Elementary**
5th Graders from South Knox Elementary School will be singing at Busch Stadium before a Saint Louis Cardinal game on Friday, July 18th. Tickets, including bus transportation, are on sale now by calling the school at 743-2591.
St. Wendel Bierstube**
 The annual St. Wendel BIERSTUBE will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There will be live music Thursday from 8 until midnight, Friday and Saturday nights the music starts at 9:30pm. There will be german cooking and food Friday and Saturday nights at 5pm with carry outs available. For more information call 457-9717.

Indiana Volunteer Firefighters
District 18 of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association will have their MONTHLY MEETING starting at 8pm (eastern). The meeting will be at the Birdseye Fire Station and includes the election of district officers for the year.
Pike Co Fair**
The annual Pike County Fair continues tonight at Hornaday Park in Petersburg. There will be a flea market from 2-8pm......the Baby Contest on the stage starts at 6 with Hog wrestling at 7.
Daviess Co Historical Society**
The Daviess County Historical Society is having its 2008 SUMMER PROGRAM on Friday, August 8th. The catered meal program starts at 6pm at the Canaan Fellowship Hall in Epsom. For dinner reservations call 257-0301 or 444-9360.
Washington School Board Meeting
The Washington School Board will meet in regular session starting at 7:30pm. The meeting is in the Administration office on East South Street and the public is welcome to attend.
