Fish Sandwiches**
The will be a BENEFIT FISH FRY featuring the Bill Joyce Sandwiches at Eastside Park in Washington. Sandwiches will be sold at 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and at 11am on Friday the 4th. Proceeds go to the family of flood victim Wendell Wise of Elnora.
Linton Freedom Festival**
The Linton FREEDOM FESTIVAL is a weeklong celebration that includes Indiana's largest July 4th parade. There will be a carnival, a cruise-in, live entertainment, horse pulls, fireworks, games and more. There is no admission charge. For details call 847-4846.
City of Washington**
The City of Washington is having its annual July 4th Celebration at Eastside Park. The celebration goes from 5-10 Tuesday thru Thursday and starts at 12:30pm on Friday the 4th. The fireworks display starts at 10pm on Friday.
Daviess County Red Cross**
The Daviess County chapter of the American Red Cross is having a BLOOD DRIVE from 11:30 until 4:30pm. The drive will be at First Baptist Church on East Walnut in Washington. For details call 254-9877.
