Community Calendar 1 July 2008, Tuesday Fish Sandwiches** The will be a BENEFIT FISH FRY featuring the Bill Joyce Sandwiches at Eastside Park in Washington. Sandwiches will be sold at 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and at 11am on Friday the 4th. Proceeds go to the family of flood victim Wendell Wise of Elnora. Vincennes Lincoln Choir** The Vincennes Lincoln High School Choir Department is hosting its MINI SHOW CHOIR CAMP starting Tuesday, July 29th. camp is open to area students in grades 7 through 12. For details call 882-2268. Linton Freedom Festival** The Linton FREEDOM FESTIVAL is a weeklong celebration that includes Indiana's largest July 4th parade. There will be a carnival, a cruise-in, live entertainment, horse pulls, fireworks, games and more. There is no admission charge. For details call 847-4846. Daviess-Martin Farm Service Agency** Tuesday, July 15th is the deadline to report acreages planted to corn, soybeans, CRP, pasture, hay, grass, fruit and vegetable crops. Martin County Learning Center** The Martin County Learning Center is offering a class on INTERNET BASICS on Tuesday nights in July. The class will be taught from 6-8pm at the learning center on highway 50 between Loogootee and Shoals. To register for the class call 295-2674. City of Washington** The City of Washington is having its annual July 4th Celebration at Eastside Park. The celebration goes from 5-10 Tuesday thru Thursday and starts at 12:30pm on Friday the 4th. The fireworks display starts at 10pm on Friday. Indiana State Police** The 2008 Indiana State Police SUMMER YOUTH CAMP starts Sunday, July 6th at Vincennes University.
