Washington Residents Arrested for Knox Co. Burglary
The Knox County Sheriff’s Department has arrested two Washington residents in connection with a burglary on South Strawberry Hall Road in Wheatland.
The sheriff’s department says a car occupied by 19-year-old Mercedes Morning and 26-year-old Sally LaFleur was spotted by the homeowners leaving the residence.
Authorities say the two returned to Washington, where they were later arrested, and returned to Knox County.
Items taken from the home were recovered, including a computer system, clothing, and jewelry.
Both Morning and LaFleur are charged with burglary.
Morning is also charged with residential entry.
Both were booked into Knox County jail on ten thousand dollars bond.
