Martha Jane Coffman, 87, passed quietly at her home in Ormond Beach, Fla., from this life to glory on Friday, May 11, 2012.
Born Martha Jane Minnick in Owen County, Ind., on Aug. 12, 1924 to Glen Minnick and Ina Huber Minnick and known to family and friends as "Jayne," she grew up on a farm in southern Indiana and attended Quincy High School.
Thomas Scott Alexander, 70, of Roachdale passed away at his residence Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012.
He graduated from North Putnam High School. He retired as assistant pressmen at RR Donnelley at Crawfordsville.
He was in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
He married Jerry Paulette Morphew on March 5, 1967, and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2007.

Mary 'Joan' Underwood Kinney
Mary "Joan" Kinney, 77, Stilesville, died Mary 11, 2012 at IU Clarian West.
She was born Oct. 26, 1934 in Stilesville to Owen and Ruth Ann (Elmore) Underwood.
She was married to Hubert Baker and Melvin Kinney, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was in the clerical department at PSI in Plainfield (now Duke Energy) for several years.
Mary "Joan" was also a greeter and cashier at the Greencastle Walmart store.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Fischer, Coatesville, and Kathy Butler, Hannibal, Mo.; and grandchildren, Jessica and Hayley Fischer, Victoria and Evan Butler, and Andrew Wiggins.
A 1952 graduate of Clayton High School, she was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church with visitation scheduled there 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 14.
Burial will be in New Winchester Cemetery.

Renos Gray McKamey
Renos Gray McKamey, age 76, Cloverdale, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born at home on Dec. 5, 1935 in Cloverdale Township, the son of Ira C. and Anita (Herington) McKamey.
He attended Cloverdale Schools.
He married Mary Elizabeth Casida on May 31, 1961, and she survives.
He was a farmer, raising hogs and farming his home place and other acreage until retiring from farming in 1983. He loved working the land and growing vegetables and caring for fruit trees in his home garden and orchard.
He retired from the Putnam County Highway Department in December 2000. He was also previously employed by Mallory Capacitor Co., Greencastle; National Food Producers, Belle Union; Cloverdale Community Schools; and the Cloverdale Truck Stop.
He was a member of the Cloverdale Church of Christ, having been baptized on Feb. 18, 1951.
Besides his wife survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Ann and Dean Fallis, West Point, and Ava Lea and Steve Larkins, Floyds Knobs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Jon P. and Joan McKamey, Brookville, and Anson W. and Tonya McKamey, Cloverdale; a granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth McKamey, Brookville; three step-granddaughters, Tiffany Compton, Indianapolis, and Camille and Phoebe Larkins, Ewa Beach, Hawaii; a sister, Delores (Lowell) Barr, Talladega, Ala., and two brothers, Calvin (Jean) McKamey, Cloverdale, and Herchel (Diane) McKamey, Huntington; and his beloved poodle Mickey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Isla Joyce McKamey, Wanda Jean McKamey Collins, and Trillis McKamey Collier; and a brother, Wayne McKamey.
Family and friends may gather Thursday, May 17 at 5 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, where a memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.
His wishes were to donate his body for scientific research. Following cremation, his ashes will be scattered on the family farm.
Shirley Ann Call Grove
Shirley Ann Call Grove, 75, of Greencastle, passed away at Las Palmas Hospital in El Paso, 
Texas on April 15, 2012.
Shirley was born in Putnam County on Aug 13, 1936 to the late Rex O. and Mary Nutgrass Call. Shirley graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1954.
As a young mother she managed the cafeteria at the Morton Sale Barn and was employed as an operator with General Telephone Company. She owned and operated Jim & Shirley's Market in Morton for 10 years.
For more than 30 years she worked as a realtor and as an appraiser in and throughout central Indiana, owning her own real estate firm for several years.
After retirement she married Vernon Grove of Truth or Consequences, N.M. They alternated living between Greencastle and New Mexico. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
Shirley loved life and participated in the Senior Olympics. She enjoyed travel with trips throughout the United States and such places as Australia and Ukraine.
She is survived by her husband Vernon Grove; two sons, Brett Wagner of Greencastle; Dirk Wagner and wife Kathy of Mount Airy, N.C.; one daughter, Kim DiBernardo and husband Paul of Plainfield, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Mary Ann Schalles and husband Dennis of Lobelville, Tenn. and Robyn Inman of Canyon Lake, Texas; one sister, Jean Huffman and husband Marion of Bainbridge; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bob Call and Max Call and sister Sharon King.
A memorial for Shirley will be held at Union Chapel Church in Morton on Saturday, May 12 at 1 p.m. Pastor Murray Clugston will officiate the memorial service.
Juanita Kaye Murphy
Juanita Kaye Murphy, age 73, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
Born August 10, 1938 in Fayette County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Goodpasture) Voiles and was a graduate of Cloverdale High School.
Juanita had been a secretary at Murphy Brothers for several years; she had also worked at the Banner Graphic, Horace Link, DePauw University, and FB Distro. She loved playing piano, cards, and Bingo. In her younger years she was a Bible Study teacher, Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Greencastle Christian Church, as well as many other accomplishments.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicky (Kim) Gorham of Greencastle and Kathy Ravelle of Kansas City; her sisters, Maxine (Richard) Shadday of Indianapolis and Sue (Roy) Bault of Greencastle; her grandchildren, Amanda Thomas, Kory and Nicholas Gorham, and Nathan Ravelle; great grandchildren, Madison, Abigail, and Malin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Endna Mae Bennett and Patti Cooper.
She was well known as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Until we meet again, we will miss you much.
At her request, there will be no visitation or services. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home will be assisting with the arrangements.
