CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has returned home after receiving treatment for cancer in Cuba, his ministers said via Twitter on Monday.

The 58-year-old socialist leader underwent a six-hour operation in Cuba on December 11. Photographs of him published on Friday were the first proof he was still alive.
