Two Additional Arrests Made in Devan Burris Murder
Washington Police say two additional arrests have been made in connection with the ongoing investigation into the murder of 17-year-old Devan Burris last December.
Police arrested 29-year-old Donal Kruchten of Seal Beach, California Monday on a warrant for Murder, Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
Kruchten was also arrested on two unrelated theft warrants.
Washington Police also arrested 28-year-old Craig Streete of Washington on a warrant for Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
Kruchten is being held without bond in the Daviess County Security Center.
Streete is being held under $500,000 bond.
The latest arrests stem from an investigation by Washington Police, with assistance from the Daviess County Sheriff's Department, Knox County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police.
No additional details are being released at this time.
Burris died from a gunshot wound December 6th after a drug deal went bad on Oak Grove Road near the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Washington.
Earlier this month, 18-year-old Logan Evans of Washington was sentenced to 45-years in prison for Burris' murder.
19-year-old Lucas Benjamin of Washington was sentenced last month to 30-years in prison in connection with the murder for Assisting a Criminal and Attempted Dealing in Methamphetamine.
