Tourism at GRC National Historical Park Creates $6.7M in Economic Benefit

A new National Park Service report says that nearly 126-thousand visitors to the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park in Vincennes in 2012 spent 6.7 million dollars in communities near the park.

The report claims that spending supported 99 jobs in the local area.

It says most visitor spending supports jobs in restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores followed by hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, and other amusement and recreation.
