Third Anniversary of IU Student's Disappearance

Today marks the third anniversary of the disappearance of Indiana University Student Lauren Spierer.

Lauren disappeared on June 3rd, 2011 after a night of partying at a bar in Bloomington.

She was a 20-year-old college student at Indiana University at the time of her disappearance.

Bloomington Police say their commitment to the case is "unwavering" and investigators continue to follow up on any information that comes in.

Captain Joe Qualters says about 280 tips have come in since last year.

Investigators are hopeful someone will eventually do the right thing by stepping up and telling police what happened to Lauren.

Meanwhile, Lauren's parents, Robert and Charlene Spierer, are pursuing a wrongful death case as they still suspect three young men of having something to do with the 20-year-old undegrad's disappearance.

Meanwhile, Lauren's parents, Robert and Charlene Spierer, say they still tense up when they get calls from each other, wondering if it's information about their daughter being found.

They're pursuing a wrongful death case as they still suspect three young men of having something to do with the 20-year-old undegrad's disappearance.
