Suspect in Evansville Attempted Murder Investigation Arrested Near Washington

An Evansville man wanted for attempted murder in Evansville has been arrested at a Daviess County home.

34-year-old Edward Ivy was arrested Monday afternoon at a home outside of Washington at County Roads 1153 West and 150 North.

Washington and Indiana State Police and Daviess County Sheriff's deputies descended on the home after Washington Police received information that Ivy was staying there.

Ivy is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond on charges of Attempted Murder with a Knife and Intimidation with a Weapon.

He allegedly threatened 53-year-old Jerald Clark with a gun while 26-year-old Antoine Russell stabbed Clark.

Russell was located in Indianapolis last week.

Members of the U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force located Russell and arrested him without incident.

He is still in the Marion County Jail.

No date has been set for his return to Vanderburgh County.
