State highway officials say a portion of State Road 57 in Greene County will be closed this week for repairs to the White River and White River Overflow bridges.

State Road 57 will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday between State Road 54 in Switz City to State Road 58 in Elnora.

The maintenance work will allow the existing bridges to remain open during the construction of new bridges later this summer.
