State Changes Clark Middle School's ISTEP Grade

The Indiana Department of Education has changed the I-STEP grade of Clark Middle School in Vincennes from a “D” to a “C.”

The Vincennes School Corporation appealed the grade last year due to apparent glitches in I-STEP tests prepared by CTB/McGraw Hill.

Superintendent Greg Parsley says he bears no ill will toward the state for the mix up, but he does hope it's been a learning experience.

Parsley says he hopes the grade change will get the school off of the state's watch list.
