State Agencies Participating in National Level Exercise Beginning Monday
Starting today, local, state and federal agencies will begin participating in what is expected to be the largest multi-agency exercise ever to occur in North America.
The national-level exercise, called Vibrant Response 2014, is hosted by U.S. Army North and will involve about 5,500 military and civilian personnel.
Participants in the exercise will work on preparation and response to a terrorist attack.
Locations for the exercise will include Camp Atterbury, Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, and the Indiana Government Center.
The entire exercise runs through August 7th.
Indiana State agencies will mainly participate this week.
