Indiana State Police will conduct sobriety checkpoints this weekend in Monroe and Posey Counties.

The Monroe County checkpoint will be held Friday while the Posey County checkpoint will be held sometime over the weekend.

Those drivers passing through the check point area should have their licenses and registrations ready to present to troopers.

Drivers will be detained only a short time unless a problem is found.
