Indiana State Police arrested an Oakland City woman early Thursday morning after she allegedly injured her partner with a knife.
27-year-old Samantha Robbins allegedly cut the neck of 24-year-old Sarah Bruce when Bruce attempted to place a 9-1-1 call following an argument.
Authorities say Robbins tried to flee when deputies took her outside.
Bruce was treated for her injury at Princeton General Hospital and released.
Robbins was arrested for Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Domestic Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement, Interference with the Reporting of a Crime, and Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams.
