Law enforcement in Illinois and Indiana are teaming up to target gun-runners. 

Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart is hosting a so-called guns summit on Friday to discuss safety initiatives, violence and the flow of firearms between the two states. 

According to a report by the University of Chicago Crime Lab, 20-percent of all guns recovered by Chicago police in the last four-years were purchased in Indiana.
