Fugitive Wanted out of Tennessee for Shooting Incident Arrested in Evansville
Indiana State Police, the U.S. Marshal’s Service and Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office teamed up Saturday night to arrest a Tennessee fugitive wanted for a shooting incident involving a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigator.
The investigator escaped injury after 22-year-old Jacob Hammond allegedly fired several shots at him while fleeing the site of a meth lab.
Hammond, of Dover Tennessee, was arrested on a Tennessee warrant for Attempted Murder as well as Conspiracy to Manufacture Meth and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Amber Lehman was arrested on a Tennessee warrant for Probation Violation.
And, 38-year-old Jonathan Buckner of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee is facing charges of Conspiracy to Manufacture Meth, Assisting a Criminal, and Possession of Precursors.
