Early Voting Starts Monday for Illinois Primary
Illinois’ primary election will be held March 18th, but early voting begins this Monday.
In most counties around the state, early voting sites will be open six days a week during regular business hours.
Voters wishing to take advantage of early voting don't need to provide a reason, but do need to be registered and present a government-issued photo ID like a driver's license, state ID or a passport.
This is the first election in which 17-year-olds who will turn 18 before the general election and who have previously registered will be able to cast ballots.
