Drunk Driver Appears in Court
A Coles County, Illinois man accused of driving drunk into a group of Amish bicyclists from Crawford County and killing one of them, appeared in court Monday.
A Coles County judge found probable cause in the case against Samuel Meadows.
He's accused of aggravated DUI, failure to report an accident involving a death and leaving the scene of an accident with a death.
The crash killed Leonard Beachy of Flat Rock, Illinois and injured four other Amish bicyclists.
A status hearing is scheduled for September 16th
