Crawford Co. Coroner's Jury Rules Homicide in 17-Year-Old’s Death
A Crawford County, Illinois coroner's jury has ruled the death of 17-year-old Alexis Myers a homicide.
One of the people who testified at a coroner’s inquest was Josiah Coates, who was a passenger in the vehicle when it went off the road.
Coates testified that Garick Hough was huffing while driving, passed out and slumped over the wheel.
The vehicle went off the road and rolled over several times.
Myers was thrown out of the vehicle and killed.
Deckard says she died instantly at the scene.
Hough is currently facing charges for aggravated DUI.
