A convicted murderer from Indiana is back behind bars, after he was mistakenly released from the Cook County Jail in Illinois earlier this week. 

Steven Robbins was arrested late Friday in Kankakee.

Robbins was released Wednesday night after drug and gun charges against him were dismissed. 

He was in the Cook County Jail because of his court date but was supposed to be transferred back to Indiana.
