Borden Man Arrested for Impersonating Police Officer



State Police arrested a Borden man over the weekend in Floyd County for Impersonating a Police Officer.

Police say 42-year-old John Brock allegedly flashed a badge at an off-duty State Police Detective and motioned him into a parking lot.

He allegedly pulled up next to the detective, told him he was a police officer and cursed and yelled at the detective before driving off.

Brock was arrested at a nearby store.

In addition to Impersonating a Police Officer, Brock is facing preliminary charges of Operating While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended.
