Body Found in Wabash River/Death Ruled Homicide
The Vigo County Sheriff's Department is asking the public to check on family, friends and neighbors in an attempt to learn the identity of a body found floating in the Wabash River Sunday night.
The cause of death has been ruled a homicide.
No identification was found on the body.
The individual is a white male, 35-to-55 years old, about 5'6” to 5'8” tall and weighing about 140-170 pounds.
Authorities say the person has had a broken right thigh bone in the past 5-7 years.
