Lawrenceville Pilot's Remains to be Buried Today at Arlington
An Air Force pilot from Lawrenceville, Illinois who was killed when his plane crashed in Vietnam in 1969 will be laid to rest today at Arlington National Cemetery.
The Department of Defense says the remains of Major James Sizemore of Lawrenceville and Major Howard Andre Junior of Memphis, Tennessee will be buried with full military honors.
The two were on a night armed reconnaissance mission when their A-26A Invader aircraft crashed in Laos.
Both men died in the crash, but their remains were unaccounted for until April of this year.
