Indianapolis Man Arrested for Stolen Vehicle & Drugs at Patoka Lake.
Indiana Conservation Officers arrested an Indianapolis man Friday afternoon at Patoka Lake in Crawford County on felony charges of Receiving Stolen Auto Parts, Possession of Methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Failure to Stop after Accident Resulting in Damage.
The arrest of 25-year-old Justin Petrowski stemmed from an investigation into his alleged theft of a vehicle at the Champaign, Illinois Wal-mart Tuesday.
Conservation officers received information that he was armed and likely hiding somewhere on the Patoka Lake property in Crawford County.
Petrowski was arrested Friday afternoon after conservation officers hiked nearly a mile over rugged terrain into the woods.
