"Cash is King" When it Comes to Oklahoma Disaster Assistance
Volunteers are pouring into Oklahoma to help out victims, but an Indiana expert says "cash is king".
Purdue University Disaster Communication Specialist Steve Cain says money is needed more than anything, but he says if someone feels the need to physically help to team up with a reputable organization.
Cain says the Red Cross and Salvation Army are two examples.
He also says long term assistance will be needed to get the victims back on their feet.
